How to perform multimodal processing at the edge? Edgar Luhulima, Master student at TU/e and member of the PHASTRAC-team, presented his work with a poster entitled ‘Multimodal Processing at the Edge’ at the SmartSystemIntegration (SSI) Conference in Hamburg, Germany on April 16-18, 2024.
How we did it? We utilise oscillatory neural networks (ONNs) to perform real-time multiple sensory signal processing and perform sensing-to-action decision such as obstacle avoidance, line tracing and processing input from touch pad. Kudos to Edgar for this great work and developing a robotic demonstrator!
