We are proud to announce that our paper “Oscillatory Neural Networks for AI Applications in Drones” has received the Best Paper Award at the 22nd International Conference on Networking, Sensing, and Control (ICNSC) 2025! 🏆

This work was led by PhD student Bram Haverkort, developed together with Bachelor students Burak Tanyeri and Neesanth Murugesh and supervised by Prof. Aida Todri-Sanial, who successfully developed—for the first time—an Oscillatory Neural Network (ONN) capable of processing multiple sensor data streams in real-time.

The team built both the software and hardware for a programmable drone, integrating FPGA-based ONN-based processing. This marks a major milestone for our lab: our first ONN-powered drone to take flight! 🚁✨
